Keep Your Office Cleaned, Even While on Vacation!

​Summer is coming, and so are vacations and closures. Make sure your office is prepared and cleaning schedules are coordinated in order to keep your place of business fresh and clean to greet customers and employees at any time! Read on for four tips on keeping your office in tip top shape no matter who is away!
 
Fridge – Having a routine for all employees to clean out their leftovers in the fridge will keep it from growing science experiments that frankly….no one wants to touch! A weekly or bi-weekly cleanout schedule (maybe a notice in the break room will help) can remind everyone that they can’t leave anything in there for long periods of time.

Desk and Work Areas – If anyone is going on vacation, remind them to keep their desks or work areas clean so your cleaning company can come in without disrupting anything of importance. As we, along with many cleaning companies, don’t want to interrupt your work flow or rearrange anything. Having the area clean while they are away will allow for more dusting, disinfecting (if that is part of your plan), and vacuuming.
 
If an employee is sick – Keeping an updated sick/COVID policy handy for all employees to have will keep everyone on the same page as to what they are supposed to do when feeling ill. Also, if they are sick, disinfecting any area they come in to contact with, adding an extra disinfection of common areas will help keep your other employees healthy. They will thank you, and will your company financials!
