Organize paperwork
If you are like many people, filing is a drag! Put away all files you are not currently working on or need, and create a system on your desk or bookcase for files you need at the ready. Clean out your desk Organize business cards into a digital filing system, throw out items you no longer need (maybe dried up pens…) and use drawer organizers to keep your desk neat and organized! Create a designate area for supplies A closed cabinet and shoe box bins are a great way to keep all of your supplies organized. This helps when you are looking for something or need to restock. See everything in one place and grab what you need at a moments notice. Eliminate clutter – physical and digital This is a great time to throw out things you haven’t used in the last 6 months or year. Donate old items that can be used again. On your computer, use an external hard drive to store older files that you need to keep. Then delete the files that you no longer need, are duplicates, or are already stored on multiple devices (great to have more than one storage place!) Clean the furniture Use furniture polish or other appropriate cleaning supplies to clean down and dust your furniture. Especially for wooden items, this can help extend their life. And, less dust is healthier for your allergies! Clean the floors Never forget the floors. These hold in dirt from anywhere else you have walked, dead skin cells, dust mites, and more. Keep your floors cleaned on an consistent basis for your health and looks well maintained for clients and employees. Don’t let it all overwhelm you. Divide your space into sections and take on a little at the time to tackle everything or look into hiring a cleaning service that can create a custom plan based on your needs! Millennium Cleaning Services can provide regular cleanings, deep cleaning, floor maintenance programs and so much! We look forward to talking to you!
